Added security in a small affordable package

This is a simple and cost-effective way of dealing with new security threats. No need to fear malware infections from public USB power sources - just use one of these gems with your own cable, and you can charge your phone safely. It’s even got a little window in the plug, making it obvious that *only* the power and ground pins are connected. Beautiful!

Works just as described.

We do a lot of traveling and we've become concerned about the prevalence of usb A outlets in many hotels and airports. We love to use them, but were concerned about whether or not they were "secure". Now, by using this adapter, we don't need to worry anymore. We just used them on trip (at a hotel) and they worked exactly as described allowing a fast charge on our electronics.
